This sweet baby girl was just an angel in her Mommy and Daddy’s arms. Already you can see so clearly her love for them! Even though she didn’t want to leave the comfort of her parents’ arms, we did manage to get a few pictures of her by herself.
This gorgeous baby girl came for her first photo session a couple weeks ago when she was just 6 days old. She slept for the first little while then decided that she didn’t want to miss out on what was going on. She was so alert and perfectly content! She especially liked posing for the picture in the vintage baby stroller.
August has been such a busy month for me with photo sessions, family holidays, and my youngest little one turning two!! I have completely neglected my blog, but will do my best to to post images of the amazingly sweet, cute, fun, and beautiful people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this past month.
Miss I was so much fun to photograph! I think she might have a future as a ballerina!!!
This sweet baby boy is so full of personality and he’s not even two weeks old yet. Looking at his amazingly cute chubbiness it’s difficult to believe that he’s still just a newborn.
I’ve been photographing this handsome baby boy since he was a tiny newborn. I can’t believe he’s already turning one! Happy Birthday little guy!!! One of the greatest joys of this profession is witnessing these amazingly special moments in peoples lives. I remember when each of my little girls turned one and we celebrated their first birthdays. It was such an amazing milestone in each of their lives and I hope to remember every moment from those days forever.

This sweet baby boy and his parents were in town visiting family all the way from San Fransisco. I really enjoyed meeting them, and was honoured that they chose me to photograph their baby boy while they were here. Little Mr. B was happy the entire session, and he was thrilled to be naked! He’s not even eight months old yet, but I was constantly amazed at how strong he is.
I was very excited to work with my first high school graduate this past weekend! As most of you know, I usually specialize in portraiture for maternity, babies, children and families. I’m thrilled to be expanding my business to include prom and graduate portraits. Check back to see a few more graduates in the coming weeks.
This gorgeous girl is graduating from North Delta Secondary, and celebrated her prom this past weekend. It was a joy to work with her. She was full of life, energy, and excitement, and obviously the camera loves her! Miss G, I wish you much luck in your future and all the limitless opportunities that await you!
I can’t believe this little sweat heart is already 7 months old. I first met this family when her Mom and Dad came for a maternity session. They were overflowing with joy and excitement for the arrival of their little baby. I was thrilled to meet Little Miss M when they came for her newborn pictures. I didn’t realize it then but she looks just like her Daddy! Her cheeks are a little fuller now, but she still looks like the same little angel I met 7 months ago. Her Mommy had a fantastic idea to make a 12 month calendar using some of the pictures from this session. You’ll notice a few costume changes that Miss M handled brilliantly. Can you guess the months for some of these picture? I LOVE the picture of Baby M with her Mommy!
I was so excited to see this family again! I photographed their first adorable little girl when she was born and I was delighted to have the opportunity to photograph their newest baby girl. Little Miss K has changed so much since I saw her last. She’s all grown up now. She loved taking pictures with her precious baby sister, and she loved showing off her adorable pink cowgirl hat! Her sweet little sister was a delight to photograph. Perfectly content the entire time!
I recently discovered this amazing antique baby stroller which I thought would be a perfect addition to my collection of studio props. I carefully consider each prop and how it will add visual interest to your images without taking the focus off what’s most important – you, your babies, and children. Here is the antique baby stroller being used for the first time in my studio. Little Miss A loved sitting up in the stroller!
