This sweet baby girl came to visit me for her first photo session last weekend. She was happy for the entire session, and had so many different expressions to share with me. She has a calmness about her and she is the biggest cuddler!!! Towards the end of her session she fell fast asleep all by herself while lying on the cozy cushion. Her mommy said that was a first for her! I was so pleased that this adorable baby girl felt comfortable enough during our session that she could ever so gently close her beautiful eyes and fall fast asleep!

Another amazing couple expecting their first baby! This couple was so much fun to photograph. They both have an incredibly wonderful sense of humour and their love for each other is obvious. This baby’s life will be filled with love and laughter!!!
My family spent the holiday weekend visiting our families in beautiful Squamish! I love going home to spend time with family and take in the breathtaking beauty that surrounds this part of the world. Before heading back to the busy city, we went up to a local lake and snapped a few pictures of my two little ones with their cousin who they LOVE LOVE LOVE so very much!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple, who’s expecting their first baby in a few short weeks. They don’t know yet if they’re having a sweet little boy or girl. I’ve found that it’s quite rare nowadays for people to not find out what they’re having. They told me that it’s one of the last true surprises that they’ll have in life. My husband said the exact same thing when we were expecting our babies. This wonderful couple is really looking forward to the moment when they meet their little bundle of joy!

Four months old and oh so cute! Little Miss A came for her photo session this past weekend and I was so excited to meet her. She is the perfect blend between her mommy and daddy, whom I first met when they came to me for their maternity pictures. This beautiful baby girl was a delight to photograph!

I was so excited to meet this sweet and adorable newborn baby boy. His mommy and daddy came to me for their maternity pictures, so it’s always extra special for me to meet these adorable newborns after having established a bond with their parents. It’s amazing for me to be able to re-live the miracle of birth through my clients. Watching them go from the anticipation and excitement of expecting their baby, then seeing them a few short weeks later with their newborn snuggled so perfectly and lovingly in their arms. I am so lucky to do what I do!!!

This past weekend I had a surprise when I opened up my door to meet my clients for their session. The daddy of the most adorable twin girls is a relative of mine whom I haven’t seen in twelve years. It really is such a small world! His baby girls were such a delight to photograph. They were full of smiles and baby talk! They are identical, but you might notice from the pictures that Miss B. is two pounds heavier.

This beautiful couple is expecting their first baby, and they are so excited for their BIG day. I often think back to the day when my girls were born. I can’t even find the words to describe how special my girls’ ‘birth days’ were. What I do know is that years later I remember all the special little details like it was yesterday. Best of all I remember how I felt.
